2014 is coming to an end and I thought why not sharing some photos of my year with you. It was a year of ups and downs with sad but mostly nice things and experiences. 2014 was also my first year on Instagram and I must say that I've met a bunch of lovely people I don't want to miss anymore.

I also started this blog, I hope to learn more about blogging in the next year. I already have some ideas for new categories to write about. Hopefully I can write more about my travels.
Another great experienece I made this year is Snail Mail. I will do an extra post about this topic ( ;

The photos above show my trip to Amsterdam in April, my summer vacation on my favourite island Formentera and some random photos from my Instagram.

I hope 2015 will be a good year and I can realise one of my biggest dreams: Spending the summer in Sweden! ♥

What are your plans for 2015?

Christmas wrapping and selfmade Chai Syrup

Gift wrapping

Chai syrup with black tea = ♥♥
Only 10 more days till Christmas Eve! Time flies! So today I started wrapping the first christmas gifts for the ones I love. I also made my first bottle of Chai Syrup. It was very successful, it's damn delicious! Next week I will do a bunch of Chai Syrup for a few people.
I like the idea of giving selfmade things as a present, it's so thoughtful and you can be sure it's made with love and care! Christmas gifts doesn't have to cost that much. It's the thought that counts.

Happy Christmas wrapping everyone! ( :

Happy Mail Day - Incoming Woodland Post from Delila in Finland

The prettiest christmas stamps I've ever seen!

This is what was inside
Look at those cute illustrations Delila made! It gives everything a personal note!

Such a delicious tea!

This lovely woodland post came from Delila in Finland today! I was such a happy girl when I found it in my mailbox. I ordered the pretty vintage scandinavian folklore tablecloth in Delila's etsy shop a couple of days ago. They are so pretty - I had to buy them ( : Pretty vintage things always make my heart melt - especially when they're from Scandinavia ♥
She also included delicious finnish winter tea and beeswax candles, she bought on a local christmas market. I was just overwhelmed finding so many treasures in this box!
Thanks a lot, Delila! You definately made my day with this!

Snail Mail

I started "Snail Mailing" early this summer. I stumbled upon "The Happy Mail Project" on Pinterest and thought it was such a lovely idea: Writing and receiving lovely decorated mail from all over the world! I noticed that there are a lot of snail mail loving souls out there, especially on Instagram! So I made connection with so many talented, creative girls. Postcards, tea, handpainted art, small fleamarket finds and other treasures are things I received in the past months. And I must admit, sometimes I am so so happy about a letter that I've got tears in my eyes! Really, it's such a nice thought that there's someone in another country or even continent who's wrapping some little treasures for me! I think it's the thought that counts. We're living in times, where everything has to be fast, everything is digitized. I like that a letter takes some days or even weeks to reach me. Opening my letterbox is so suspenseful every day - I can never know if there's a letter waiting for me! And if so - I have a big smile on my face!

So yes, letters can make you happy! Send more mail! (:

Here are some lovely letters I received in the past weeks! ♥

Hallo, Hi, Hei, Hej, Salut, Hello!

After a lot of doubts, thoughts and worries - welcome to my blog! The idea of writing a blog had been on my mind for some years now, but I never dared to start it! So here it is - a sneak peak into my world. This blog will be about travelling, food, letters, tea, everyday life and all the little things that make life prettier.

I hope you'll enjoy reading, let's see how everything will work ( ;

Much love and happiness
